About Me

Jerome is an Assistant Professor II at Central Bicol State University of Agriculture-Calabanga handling language, literature, and research subjects. Outside of his profession, he has been involved with the Wikimedia movement since 2013 as an editor in Bikol Wikipedia.

He attended the 1st Naga Wiknic and 8th Meet up of contributors of Bikol Wikipedia in Naga City Ecology Park in San Felipe, Naga City last January 6, 2013 and the 10th Foundation Anniversary of Bikol Wikipedia at James O'Brien SJ. Library, Ateneo de Naga University last November 11 and 18, 2017.

He organized the CBSUA Wiki Education last October 25, 2023 at Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, the first university in the Philippines to launch a Wiki Education Program. In the following year, he launched the pioneering Wiki OJT as a project of Wiki Instruction where OJT students from the College of Arts and Sciences experience the life of wikimedians primarily consist of translating, editing, and writing Wiki articles as well us uploading photos for Wiki Commons.
