Project Report for Philippine WikiCon 2012 (accepted)

In the said project report under Measures of success[1]:
  •   2 non-Manila based activities initiated by members from outside of Manila
    • Naga/BikolRevitalization of Wikipedia communities outside the Greater Manila area has been among the priorities of the chapter. As a result, WMPH has communicated with interested Bikol Wikipedians primarily through User:Filipinayzd who had gathered fellow Bikol Wikipedia editors and some interested individuals. It resulted to the 3rd and 4th Naga meet-up on February 21 and April 15, respectively (Naga is about 377kms from Manila). Prior to February 2012, Bikol-based Wikipedians last met on October 2009. WMPH also provided material support to Bikol editors by allocating funds for them for the acquisition of a two-volume Bikol-English dictionary, and provided them a Bikol Wikipedia roll-up banner, which had to be made in Manila.
The 3rd and 4th Naga meet-ups were Community-initiated and not funded by WMPH. The only WMPH-funded Meet-up held in the region was 4th Naga meet-up held on April 15, 2013. The supposed meet-up of the Naga City-based community of Wikipedians was attended by two (2) Wikipedians from Metro Manila (377 kms from Naga City). WMPH funded their transportation, accommodations among others.
There was an effort to revitalize the Bikol Wiktionary project. The two-volume Bikol-English dictionary was an initial reference for the upcoming project. Bikol Edithon was not it.[2]
Materials used at the Community-initiated and LGU Canaman-funded Bikol Edithon were the Bikol Wikipedia roll-up banner provided to the Community in April or long before the event was planned; and the freebies distributed at Philippine WikiConference for the members and the Community.

WMPH Chapter startup 2 Project Report (incomplete)

In the said incomplete project report under Microgrants[3]:
  • The microgrants will provide financial assistance for activities of Wikipedia communities that will result in the continuous and active promotion of Wikimedia projects, to entice active contribution and development of Wikimedia projects. In the column for result after completion date of the grant it says The fund was used for projects of Bikol Wikipedia of the Naga City-based community of Wikipedians. With it they were able to hold meet-ups, editathons and a Wikipedia Takes Naga event.[4][5]
The only WMPH-funded Meet-up held in the region was 4th Naga meet-up held on April 15, 2013. As mentioned above, the supposed meet-up of the Naga City-based community of Wikipedians was attended by two (2) Wikipedians from Metro Manila (377 kms from Naga City). WMPH funded their transportation, accommodations among others. 5th Naga meet-up was held on June 30, 2013 during the Open Web Day ADNU at James O'Brien Library. It was also attended by three (3) Metro Manila-based Wikipedians. Expenses were charged to WMPH through Open Web Day fund. 6th Naga meet-up was held on August 15, 2013 during the Bikol Edithon.[6]

Bikol Community Projects (draft)

In the said draft project proposal under Projects[7]:
2012 Projects Budget
Reference Library Bikol Extension (under custody of the community) ₱5,000
1. Bikol Dictionary, Vol. I & II by Malcolm W. Mintz (P3,500.00)
2. Diksyunaryong Traylingguwal Bikol (Naga)-Filipino-English by Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino*
3. Etnikong Bokabularyong Bikol by Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino*
4. The Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Bicol People by James J. O’Brien, S.J., ed. (P150.00)
5. Modern English-Pilipino-Bicolano Dictionary by Mario Tungol (P85.00)
Bikol Meet-ups ₱5,000
Bikol Open Web Day ₱6,000

* has not been delivered

Two (2) of the four dictionaries have not been received by the Community to be used as references for Bikol Wiktionary. Tungol's Modern English-Pilipino-Bicolano Dictionary is actually a translator and does not contain elaborate definitions therefore is not useful. The books are loaned to Canaman Municipal Library and not in the custody of the Community.
The value for Bikol Meet-ups could be consumed by Manila-based Wikipedians and not by the Community. (See entries above)
The value for Bikol Open Web Day could be sourced from Open Web Day which is a separte grant.
